Welcome to 'After the Ring', a Lord of the Rings rpg. Please be sure to read the rules before you do anything else, as it will prove very important. Here, you can be an elf, man, half-elf, dwarf, or hobbit. You can be of various skills, such as an archer, warrior, healer, or etc. You can own a whole country if only you step forward and take the throne. After all, this is Middle-Earth, and every country needs a king. Will it be you?

All of the Kingdoms have high positions available for the takings, excluding Mirkwood which has a king. RPers are needed for Aragorn and Arwen, the king and queen of Gondor. Until we get more members, there will not be a plotline, so it is just a free-for-all for now. Claim territory before your chance is gone!

Name: Elu Thingol

Breed: elf king

Age: 220

Skill: Warrior

Mount?: Alydar, a spotted mustang

COB: Rivendell

Appearance: Silver hair that hangs behind his shoulder blades within a strand of leather. He has blue eyes and an oval face. His ears are pointed and aren't usually hidden behind hair, he has them in the open. His ears are pierced from his rowdy prince days. Around the castle he usually wears his blue cape tied together around the base of his neck by a string of baby blue pearls. Underneath his cape he wears a plain blue shirt with a long neck line. Upon his legs he wears leather pants. His shoes are plain brown slippers.

Personality: He is a gentle ruler. When things get too physical he has the guards take care of them. When ever the law has been broken he tries to see every side before making a judgment. And when his judgment is cast nothing sort of a miracle can change his mind. He is loyal to his wife, guards, and children, including everyone in his kingdom. His moods don't really vary. He is normally calm and collected, except for the few years during Aly's birth when his life was hectic and erratic. He rarely gets angry and when on the slight occasion that it does happen he blows off steam by hitting the gym and practicing his swordmanship.

History:
~Childhood~
As a child Elu had the determination to become king. Out of all his brothers he was the most worthy. He was sort of a mother's boy. Which is how he came to be so gentle and caring. His parents weren't both of royal generations. His mother was a middle-class peasant his father fell in love with.
~Prince Elu~
As a prince, Elu worked very hard. He had very strong morals so when his brothers or competition wrongly accused peasants to death he waited and listened to their whole story. After his father watched this difference he began watching Elu more closely. Whenever the princes were sent to do a mission or complete a test Elu was the last to go and last back. But he nearly always did every test better then his brothers. When it came time to crown the new king, because their father was getting to old and had years to live. Elu was crowned King.
~King~
When he was crowned king he was instantly bombarded with many acceptable women that he was to marry. So for the next several days he sorted through the mounds and mounds of pictures and descriptions of all the women in Rivendell. Until one day he came upon the picture of his queen. He knew instantly that she was made for him. A few weeks after spotting her picture her arranged a meeting with her. She was a poor women. Who knew? Instead of going to her like he would have done his advisers told him it would be better if she was escorted here. He accepted the condition. When she was escorted to his castle they looked into each other's eyes and it was love at first site. A few years after they married they had a single daughter. They named her Aly. They spoiled her for what she was worth. Until they had a son.
