Welcome to 'After the Ring', a Lord of the Rings rpg. Please be sure to read the rules before you do anything else, as it will prove very important. Here, you can be an elf, man, half-elf, dwarf, or hobbit. You can be of various skills, such as an archer, warrior, healer, or etc. You can own a whole country if only you step forward and take the throne. After all, this is Middle-Earth, and every country needs a king. Will it be you?

All of the Kingdoms have high positions available for the takings, excluding Mirkwood which has a king. RPers are needed for Aragorn and Arwen, the king and queen of Gondor. Until we get more members, there will not be a plotline, so it is just a free-for-all for now. Claim territory before your chance is gone!

Appearance: Has elven blue eyes that are normally the first thing you notice about her. Her hair is thick but wave-less, unlike her mother's. The brunette locks are darker than most girls in Gondor, signifying she is part elf. Her long neck is often emphasized by the low cut shirts she wears, and wearing black brings out the features of her face. She has a pointed chin and a high forehead, and her lips are soft and almost seem painted on her creamy skin. Her normal, everyday attire consists of a black dress that has brown decor on the collar and shirt sleeves, and also the bottom hem. Her shoes are often simple brown slippers in the castle, but black boots elsewhere.
Personality: Arlen is a relative of kings, making her proud but also kind. She is intelligent and also intuitive, but doesn't always find the way to put answers she acquires to use. She is easily frustrated and impatient, but she won't give up until she finishes what she started. She can be stubborn, but is usually quite compliant and easy to please. She is always honest unless she fears what the truth will do, and she is easy to trust with your heart. She never tells a soul the things she hears unless it is of up-most importance.
History: Arlen is the daughter of Aragorn and Arwen, the king and queen of Gondor. She was born and raised in Minas Tirith, and to this day has never left the city. She finds the castle to be home for her, and her heart has never wandered anywhere else. When she was ten, she was given a horse and riding lessons from her father. Her mother, a Rivendell Princess, taught her healing skills that only the elves know. She proved to be a quick learner, and by the time she was fourteen she had mastered many of the harder formulas and incantations.
Her father taught her brother, Arlorn, how to fight with a sword and other weapons. She sat in on a couple lessons, and Aragorn even let her practice once with his own sword. She swung it around quite easily, but images of the pain it could cause would not leave her head and she had to put it down. She finds it hard to wield a weapon, but keeps a mace on her side at all times. It was given to her by her father, for he said it was lightweight and something fit for a princess. He always had made her smile...
When she was sixteen and her brother spoke of leaving, she was shocked at how easily their parents agreed. She didn't want him to go. Arwen was a tad bit distressed, but Aragorn claimed it was time he saw his future kingdom. When he came back, he was much easier to be around then before, as he had 'had his breath of fresh air'. Sometimes Arlen will ride with him around Minas Tirith, but she has never left Gondor as he has. She doesn't want to.
Anything Extra: Princess of Gondor. Lives in Minas Tirith. Owns a mare named Bambi. Has never left Gondor.
